Annual physical examination- In our pet exams we take into consideration your pet's condition, age and environment before suggesting care for the year. Our goal is to combine the latest available research with your pet's physical and your family situation to optimize the care which will give the best long, happy and healthy life for your pet.

Surgery - We have experienced surgeons for all routine procedures as well as some of the specialty orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. We offer referrals to board certified surgeons and specialists at Cornell University, Colonial Veterinary Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine. costs depend on the procedure-call for our spay and neuter prices.

Ultrasound - We offer referral ultrasound examinations by specialists in Ithaca, NY.

X-rays - We offer all routine diagnostic radiographs including contrast studies and  dental x-rays. 

Advanced Dental Care - We have not only the routine dental prophylaxis available at our facility, but also thru some specialized training, advanced dental care to save teeth, roots and gums. We refer advanced cases to All Pets Dental Care in Mount Pocono, PA or to the university vet schools...yes, your pet can have a root canal! We are happy to give estimates and we always let the owner know once the pet is under anesthesia what the different options and prices would be when we can do a thorough exam. 

On site Laboratory - Our diagnostic lab allows us to offer in house diagnostic testing for illness and wellness testing, pre surgical diagnostics and Senior Health Care Testing; all in just a few minutes in most cases.

Behavior Counseling - As the number one reason for euthanasia in the United States, this has become a primary concern in our practice: we offer advice and early behavior modification for housebreaking, aggressiveness and any other behavior problems you may encounter. Alternative and Adjunctive Medicine- We can refer your pet for acupuncture, herbal and homeopathic veterinary medicine as well as veterinary chiropractic care. See our resources page for location or call us anytime to see if you think your pet would benefit from these special services.

Flea and tick preventatives are on special: buy a six pack and get one free 

Heartworm/Lyme disease testing and Heartworm preventatives.

We offer other services: nail trims for dogs, cats and pocket pets, toenail grinds (a more gentle approach!), ear flushing and cleanings,and minor grooming for that pesky mat behind the ear!
